Fragmented Bliss-book review

Note: I received an e-book copy of this book from the author for exchange of an honest review

Title: Fragmented Bliss

Author: B.J Rosalind

Genre: Poetry

About the book: A collection of honest musings on the misadventures of life and love, “Fragmented Bliss” embarks readers on a journey to collapse in laughter and tears because that is how galaxies of memories are formed.

Review:

Lies of Fire
“We set ourselves on fire,
in hope for others to admire.
From afar, we’re the epitome of life.
From near, we’re dying for the afterlife.”

-B.J Rosalind

When the author of this book contacted me and asked if I wanted to receive a review copy of it, I obviously said yes since I love to support debut authors, especially young ones.

Although Fragmented Bliss really is a poetry collection, it´s so much more too. All of the poems are kind of connected and creates one story. A story about a young woman and her journey. About independence and love and feminism. The poems are simple but still so powerful, and all of them made you feel something, think something. And all of the poems and the way they was connected with each other just felt very unique and new.

It´s a pretty short poetry collection, only about 100 pages and I read it in just a little bit over an hour. But in that short amount of time, the book made me both smile and cry. Some of the poems are really powerful and I already know that I will reread them many times.

Overall, I truly loved this poetry collection and I would recommend it to everyone who wants to read some modern poetry.

Rating: 4/5 stars

Coffee tasted books-book tag

Hello everyone!

So, this tag has been going around on bookstagram for a little while (I´m actually not sure who created the tag) and I thought it looked really fun and then @allisbooks tagged me to do it a little time ago so I decided to create a blog post out of it. So without further ado, here´s the Coffee tasted books tag!

Unpopular opinions book tag

Hello everyone! I know that I haven’t posted anything here for a little while and the thing is that I’ve actually had a lot of time to write blog posts but I’ve been in Italy and I didn’t had any Wi-Fi (except for a few minutes every now and then at cafes and restaurants). So yeah, because of this, I wasn’t able to upload any of the blog posts that I wrote. However, I do have Wi-Fi now and I’ll try to post at least twice a week for the rest of my summer vacation. Okay, I’ll stop ramble now and get to the actual blog post.

When 4 book lovers met each other

Hello everyone! This post isn´t truly bookish really but I decided to post it anyway since I really like to read these kind of blog posts by myself.

As many of you probably already know, I have a bookstagram account called @thelittlebooknerdy and a little time ago, after talking to each other through instagram for a little while, me and three other lovely bookstagrammers decided that it would be really fun to meet each other in real life. And since we don´t live too far from each other, we soon decided a day to meet each other.

Bookish traveling-London

So i thought it would be fun to make a blog post about them. I choose to only include bookish stuff in this blog post since this is a book blog. So without further ado, let´s get started!
